Everytime that I sign on, I get a notification that I have one new message. When I click on the link, it says "Access Denied". Totally confused :~ Any explanation gratefully received.
Liked the article, but you can get Thai ingredients delivered to your door here, as we have done for a number of years and it was next day delivery. Only last week we had a large delivery to restock supplies. Have been using the lemon grass we grew from seed, and am about to order the tiny Thai green aubergine seeds, which will enhance the eating experience even more. Last night was a Thai green curry here and it is always great to have a change from spaghetti, whatever the northern ½ûÂþÌìÌà guy thinks. Wife is off to Thailand again next week, so sure our Thai friends will load her up with more delicious things for cooking. A few links:
We used a resin product on our external tiles, apart from being expensive, it appears to work well, as the staining from the peat in the pots of basil wash off. This other article could help if you want to go the wax route.
You could try the Opel garage, just out of Amandola on the Fermo road. Danni there speaks some English. We get our tyres from him. Another alternative is the tyre centre on the industrial estate, on the road to Communanza. We used to have ours changed on the rims for the Citroen each year, cost was under E20 including balancing. You will still probably need snow chains, unless you have 4 wheel drive.
The high premium was for the Mitsubishi Pajero LWB. Have just had the quote in for the citroen xsara as copied and pasted below. "Your motor insurance is due for renewal with us on 02 November 2010. The renewal premium is US$ 859 (about 540 GBP)."Â

A general article.
This shows tyre regulations in many EU countries.
Little more info:

No, it is a different one Penny. It is on the estate just as you leave Amandola, by the sports stadium and garage.

Have ours fenced off to protect the hunters from a 70kg Abruzzi Pastorale, which they seem to be very wary of if they come anywhere near.
