I know this problem has been mentioned in an earlier post, but it has just reared its ugly head again. When we changed the registration of the Citroen from UK to ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, despite there being a tow bar fitted, it was not noted on the registration.

Anyone know how to ask for the skin to be left on a pork roast, so that you can get the crackling?? Just had a beautiful loin roast from the butcher, but they cut all the skin off before it is on display, so no nice crunchy bits when roasted.

For those of you, who walk dogs around the San Ruffino tracks. There is an ½ûÂþÌìÌà Woman who sometimes has been seen there with an Alsatian, quite often not on a lead.

Stalk & clean 1lb of sloes, prick all over with a darning needle and put in a bottling jar. Add 3-4oz of granulated sugar + a few drops of almond essence or a little Noyeau liqueur.

Anyone have a Canon printer that uses the BCI 24C colour cartridges? I have 5 unused compatible cartridges, as now have a Epson printer. Free to a good home, as against throwing them in the bin!!

Is there a function so that we can insert a PDF or Word document into a post? I have some information for the Energy certificate topic, but cannot see any way to insert it without copying and pasting( PDF of about 7 pages).

The last few weeks, have been walking the dog past the above park area in the evenings. The picnic/viewing area is virtually overgrown, with only the first few metres of grass having been cut, empty plastic bottles strewn around the bins etc.

Flip. Do not think many people like the thought of a plate of cooked tripe!!! Dogs love it though. I prefer the northern UK way, raw with vinegar, salt and pepper. Alan. I do eat in a lot of restaurants where workers go, as I travel around often. What you normaly find is the locals get better size portions. I also believe someone quoted in the earlier forum that they had an increased bill in a restaurant as they were not ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ. I also object to paying 2-4 euros per person cover charge for lunch, which seems to be the new trick around here in certain establishments.

If you just live on booze Alan, then thats ok. All food is getting expensive and restaurants are still OTT with their prices. When most of Europe dropped prices in restaurants Italy did not after the credit crunch.

Interesting point Sebastiano: Only industrial foodstuffs with appropriate expiry dates etc can be served to guests A quick search on B&B in this area, shows quite a few offering home cooked food, evening meals on request, so do we presume they all have health certificates and if so how to check. Would think the fines are quite high if the guest gets salmonella or something similar.

Paulo The quote earlier was for 2010. This year for building cover, (May 2011) was £236.75 + accidental damage £23.68 + taxes £81.95. I then had a discount of £26.04. Total premium £ 316.34. We are fully resident here, so that could explain in part the difference.

Am currently working on floors using this system. Fast and easy to lay, steel reinforcing on top and then concrete. Also ventilate the floor to the outside (under the igloo ) to help prevent the damp rising through the existing wall structure.  If you do go for underfloor heating, you need the slab first, then the insulation and UFH pipes, then the new floor screed. Take that all into account for the final floor height.

Thought of going more green on the electric side, but Enel wanted to charge more for green energy. Perhaps they would somehow just send the green part to me down the cable. At least I prefer to see green trees instead of logs everwhere.
