We now have a new addition to the family here, a orphaned leveret. It is only about 8 days old now, but seems to be doing quite well and putting on weight. Feeding it a kitten milk mixture. Anyone else had experience of bringing them up??

Have just seen that there is a proposed filling station strike next week for 2 days!!
Italymag's latest post has just amused us here, about the ½ûÂþÌìÌà Chef Aldo Zilli, as being one of the first to introduce "proper" ½ûÂþÌìÌà food into London. There were many restaurants in London, in the 70's prior to him arriving. One, San Frediano,
Hope nobody has booked flights with this airline in Italy
Didn't take long, before it started. Non ½ûÂþÌìÌà B&B!!! From a TripAdvisor commentBreakfast on the patio was excellent- even including bacon and eggs!
Wonder if anyone having the same problems:1. You read a post logged in, then refresh and then it tells you that you have x number of unread posts, even though you have read all.
Because it was raining today, thought to do some price comparisons re non ½ûÂþÌìÌà B&B's to ½ûÂþÌìÌà ones in Marche. I will not name any, but to be honest, you are better staying in ½ûÂþÌìÌà establishments.
New regulations for those who drive down via France for 2012
Understand there are going to be some new PV industrial size installations in and around Amandola.

You believe in TA then Angie. Loads of single posts, so not worth looking at for a recommend. Obviously they have never travelled. Sure you plugged the LBFS, but then that is expected. Nothing wrong with ½ûÂþÌìÌà speck, at least not the white scum that comes out. Your guests now get a welcome pack of bacon???
Yorkshire as well.
They missed out Black Pudding as well, so deserves a thumbs down!!
Was not making a judgement Ugo, just a objective comment. Even your great ½ûÂþÌìÌàECB president managed to make the Euro fall today!! Soon the 400K might be 300k if he continues and the Euro keeps falling. Forza Sterling !!!!
To be honest Ugo. Think whoever was restoring that property, was trying to create a palazzo in a normal house and failed. With the price, it looks like a mortgage reposession and are trying to recoup their expenditure. It is very much like the London set, who had to have Roman style porticos to their houses.
Rather OTT Ugo. Were they trying to re-create these:
Forget Amandola. Go to the computer shop in Sarnano, opposite the market square. He is very helpful.
Must say, the best decision we made before coming here was to choose the heating system we have installed. It needs no maintenance, cleaning, inspections etc. Going out to get logs in midwinter is not my idea of a easy life!!! No risk of chimney fires either and running costs are low.
We can use 10 logs a night on the woodburner, for Xmas, New Year etc. Problem is room gets too hot!!
If you can, go to the woodyard just outside Amandola on the road to San Ruffino. There's a guy in the office there who speaks English and will give you an idea of how much. They will also cut to the size you want. We used to go through so much wood in a small apt, that it was ridiculous. Had 50 Quintale (a lorry load) delivered here 6-7 years ago, for emergency use and it's still taking up loads of room in the garage. Would buy as much as you can, that you can store dry, as most is only seasoned for a year. Best time is now, as been so dry
