Everytime that I sign on, I get a notification that I have one new message. When I click on the link, it says "Access Denied". Totally confused :~ Any explanation gratefully received.
Have printed off the form, so will see if we have more luck this time. 6 years ago it was rejected as we had left the UK a few months before 60th. Will be interesting to see how it goes this time!!!
Had a discussion with the garage over these, when I replaced the tyres on the Pajero last year. Previously had Cooper winter tyres on, but then they put on all season ones. The snowflake symbol is on them and in the February snow there was no problem in getting anywhere. In that vehicle, I do not carry chains, whereas in the Citroen, even with winter tyres I needed them on occasions!!!
16C here Joy as of 10 mins ago, but raining. We are at 400mtrs altitude, but close to the mountains. Cloud cover is low, so cannot see if there is snow on them!!!
Sent you a email yesterday, in reply to yours, with my contact details if you want to talk about options etc You are welcome to come and see the one operating here. We are on the Fermo road, not far from the Riding stables.
We have a outside pond, populated by frogs and vipers at the moment. The problem is that you need a pump as well to circulate the water, as mozzies breed in still water. Best remedy we found for mozzie bites was Tiger Balm. It is what the Thais use and our friends there put us onto it.
This link may be of interest to some, as it gives prices for different fuels across the EU. Some of the data seems a little out of date, but Italy for domestic electricity is not the worst!!
Everything is purely a matter of choice. As I said before it is lifestyle, and I like the way we live, with no ugly solar panels or having to bring in wood every day to keep warm in the winter. Everything here was pre-planned before moving, not an afterthought to how to keep warm. That was the priority!!

Lucy and Gerry. A 9kw output pump, would need circa 135mtrs of ground loop x 4, so over 500mtrs of tubing. It would have to be a very large pond!!
