stihl... very light... echo good tooÌýÌýmy theory on all these machines...things like muculloch... etc etc is that you can spend money on honda or stihl ... and what you get is a machine that will last basically no longer but pay a lot more...i wouldn't even try to strim a hectare... soul destroying..anyway the things to look out for in my opinion is the size of cord they say you can fit.. the thicker the better...or if it has a chain attachment even better...balance this with what you think you can do... two days strimming will leave your hands with a permanent shake for at least the next 2 days...so wine has to be drunk straight from the bottle to avoid spillage...four stroke over two reduces this effect which is cumulative,... its going to damage you permanently...the more you pay the more balanced the machine.. however the safety ware will cost more... proper shoes which you will not cut your toes off in..Ìý and a screen... wire mesh not plastic... doesnt steam upÌý ear protectionÌý... finally good gloves.. after all that the other thing with two stroke is the fumes...four stroke beats itthe other thing with more expensive versions is that on the stihl i can fir the hedge-cutter and the small branch lopper... so one engine does allÌýsaying all that and we have a smaller area than yours ... on quite a slope.. we have a kawasaki motor mower thing... cuts down anythingÌý with hydraulic drive...which means it doesnt run away on the hills and diff lock for climbing... you sit in that thing and cut a hectare an hour.... afterwards strim the steep bits and around the trees...Ìýthe other machine is pedestrian ... and is a strimmer with power driven wheels... anything to keep a big machine off shoulders and from shaking you to bits is my philosophyso there are my mix of thoughts.. no doubt if you bother reading it all you ll be no wiser... but there are more options on an amount of land that size than strimmers...ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý

know the feeling ... i saw a deal with 3 and bought their key for i think 59 euro... my sons phone worked fine here so thought the Internet thing would be the same... not so... every-time we went online we payed god knows how much because it transferred to tim...if you can be sure that it is wind... believe your neighbours then this is your way forward... a new Sim card at least ...although the internet packages with key included for wind might work out cheaperÌýthat's how we worked it anyway... neighbours child used tim/alice and we do now...Ìý key cost more... monthly price less.. but it all works with no extras...Ìýfind your wind shop... local to you...if any doubts try and make them come to your house and prove it works...at the start i would suggest that you take out a monthly type contract.. unless you are totally secure about what you are signing for...its easier to step up from that than try and break a no break contract hereÌýgood luck

you not only need private health insurance that covers you for a year...in ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ...cost from any of the sort of major italian insurance people around euro 300... very basicyou also need at least 5000 euro in an italian bank account and proof of that toounless of course you are either working here or are self employed... then the reciprocal national health things come into effect.. e forms... as an eu national you have to register here after 3 months and can then use the relevant e form to get your health coverif you have been resident in Italy for at least five years you can get your health card by showing proof of thisthere are also large differences in applying and obtaining residency depending on your status either eu national or non eu...the above applies to eu nationals and is much the simpler application as compared to non euwisely visiting the comune you will get their opinion on some very new laws and how they think they should be applied... because as with all things ½ûÂþÌìÌà there are various versions and interpretations of the way things are/should be done... Law DLGS 30 of 2007 is the principle law and i believe there is advice now on how this is applied on various EU national government health/living abroad fact sheets...ie Home office if UK based

your bank will issue you one... well providing you have one... and they like you... it will be most probably at least a mrning of form filling and most probabley they will want at least a blood sample... however they will then issue you one ... most probably with monthly chargeshowever funnily enough i was reading an article about buying on the net... and thay also suggest using top up cards... these are bank credit cards which allow you to pre pay an amount ... ie credit the card with 100 euro... and you then can spend it via paypal/ebay...am not sure if they charge you for this... although most things are... the article for what its worth also suggested fraud or theft of details was more likely to happen using the card in restaurants/garages or even cash machines here than by using the net... for buyin... i will look out the article and if i missed anything will let you know....anyway we have both normal bank and post bank...and they both would give us cards... but both have fees attached... i have even seen shops... Lidls for one offering cardsItaly is moving forward.. but hasnt learnt that they can make enough money without the fees...

transumanzabecause yo are so close and Puglia is the region... your answer has reulted in me at long last getting out of this quagmire... and will add my 20 pounds... to the just giving collection as soon as i stop writing... well before the night is out... its a really interesting part of abruzzo history tied in with puglia... the actual city i was looking for was Foggia... which is the link to why i asked i guess... in aincient times both L'aquila and Foggia suffered from destructive quakes... Onna also is very much to do with this tradition ... the little village which is more or less a symbolic emblem in Italy anyway for the tragedy the pits... foggia gets its name... well as far as i know from its agricultural background and is the capital of the wheat plains of italy... at least as far as the south is concerned and it was stored in Pits within the city...the Puglians then started taxing the sheep men of abruzzo for the sheep they brought and obviously the traditional movement of sheep to the plains of Puglia for winter began to die out... before that however the local agriculture in Puglia suffred as they cleared huge tracts of land to allow the sheep to graze...reminds me a bit of the wild west films where cattle barons hated the sheep herders... what is relevant for modern times i suppose is that many of these aincient tratturi are now bing re opened for walkers and cyclists... even horse riding...anyway anne... according to rules posted by moxie... its up to you to get this thread( is that the right term now) back on track and earning moneyWELL DONEj

if i could award you the prize i would ... because i seem to be slowing things down here ... i really must give another clue i think... the place they go to has an old reputaion for having loads of pits to store wheat in days long past... hence its name derives from that latin word... the place the sheep depart from is L'Aquila... although other places too but thats the famous route ... and i belive its around a 2444 km walk although with my broken shin i have been unable to ceriry the correctmess of this... along old compacted earth routes... there are quite a few festa that derive from this aincient practice... and i do love my festasi have a feeling as well that alpine sheep do the same sort of thing... but other destinations... did i say one clue ... the little stone houses... and we have a few up in the mountains here ...did not fit enough sheep in... once moxies hairy chappie was inside... but they are very much to do with sheep herding of the past... and i remember a posting with pictures ... maybe from Bruno or Stefano in the past on that
