Swiss motorway vignette. To use the Swiss motorways, assuming you go that way, you'll need a vignette. However, if you already have a 2019 vignette, it is valid up to the end of January 2020, so would cover your trip.
Use "Via Michelin " to sort out your route. Its probably about 11 to 12 hours driving, plus stops.
Good place to stop about 2 hrs from Calais is Reims area. We use the Novotel at Riems Tinquex, it does better food than the nearby Ibis, and is just off the motorway. We book it through the Accor website, but if you look at "Booking.com" you can see what else is available in the area.
