If you drive through Germany as far as Aachan, you only have a 3.5 hour trip (about 210 miles) across France to Calais.ÌýÌýA pretty easy non-stop trip.
If you drive through Switzerland (Gotthard tunnel) and into Germany (my Lorrach route) and up through Germany to Strasbourg, you could fill up with petrol and food in Germany just before entering France near Strasbourg.Ìý In theory, you could drive non stop through France to CalaisÌý and avoid the quarantine requirements. ( but no toilet stops).
In theory, if you stop in Luxembourg you would have to quarantine on entering Swiitzerland.Ìý Not sure if you would be allowed to just stay overnight and continue your journey.
If you stop in either Luxembourg and/or Belgium on the way back its 2 weeks quarantine on your return to the UK
