Thought it might interest those who would like to teach their own language in Italy or those who are looking for a job (whatever it is) in Italy. You could take advantage from being a native speaker! I run into the TEFL twitter account, then looke
Wanted to share with you these photos of last year Presepe Vivente. You could see the Nativity Scene but also old crafts.. It was set in a quarry with lights which enhanced the Christmas atmosphere; I cannot believe it was last year!
Whether you are the owner of a Hotel or a Bed and Breakfast or an Agriturismo or any other kind of accommodation, you may need to use some key-phrases with your ½ûÂþÌìÌà guests. The first thing - and most of you surely know this - to tell somebody c
Hi Valentine. In Italy you can have a Partita Iva and be a Libero Professionista. You should apply for a Partita Iva at the Camera di Commercio. This will enable you to work for as many private organizations as you can afford to, in the same period. Usually a Libero Professionista works on Progetti (see "contratto a progetto" above).Good luck for you projects :)Will PM you with a good language course.Â
Hi Dave and Anna,a warm welcome to both of you to the Italy Community.Certainly life in southern Italy is slightly different from the northern area of the country for many reasons: culture, job, religion, food. Hope you'll get used to and that you'll find a community of friends in Calabria.
Liguria! A very nice region that I visited a couple of years ago. The land of pesto and of the magic Riviera where you can now enjoy a cycle-pedestrian path that leads you from Tuscany to Southern France. What a better chance to walk the path and take a look at the Alps on a side and to the sea on the other!Hopefully you may enjoy it during your holidays in Liguria!Â
Aperitivo!! I adore this word! "Happy hour" were once associated with beer. Now, if you go in an ½ûÂþÌìÌà bar - from 18 to 20 - you can enjoy an aperitivo and a lot of good "stuzzichini" with it, just ordering a bitter or a martini con ghiaccio. Of course the aperitivo is becoming more expensive, but you could consider it as an antipasto, cause you won't be too hungry after you had one.
Quote Heiko:"There is some evidence that red wine (a glass or 2 a day!) has beneficial effects on the heart"That's true.My father applies the well known rule of the apple, to the wine:"A glass of wine a day, keeps the doctor away".. actually he often - if not everyday - drinks a half glass of red wine at each meal. For wine lovers, here's a selection of the best (sardinian) wines..Enjoy and ..drink it with moderation.. :)
Hi and thanks for joining the community! Hope you'll have a great time here, meeting new people who love Italy or have ½ûÂþÌìÌà origins.Which aspect of ½ûÂþÌìÌà culture do you like the most? Many wishes for achieving all of your projects.
Of course it depends on your personal tastes, but I find that the following ingredients can  make your lasagne tasteful:1) ragù  2) prosciutto cotto and provolone3) home-made besciamella!! this will add a delicate flavour to your lasagne..that's sure!If I'd were, I would avoid to use Salame..they may taste too salty..Buon appetito!
Hello Gianna! That's great that people from the wonderful Friuli region joined the community. Maybe you've already been in the Butterfly town of Friuli, Ìý. Unfortunately I've never visited it. And you? Â
