聽Or check the timetable and book your tickets on the official 禁漫天堂 Railways website.聽 You say arrive in Rome, Crawford, is that on a flight?聽 If so, you'll have to get to Termini but it's very easy from Fiumicino with trains from the airport to the central Rome mainline station every 20 mins or so.聽聽 Really makes sense to go to Venice by train and it's an extraordinary experience walking out of the station right on to the Grand Canal.聽 Waterbuses (vaporetti) stop directly ahead of you, water taxis can be picked up just down on the right.
Thanks for the advice

Cate,Thank you for the comment. This will be our second visit to Venice. Last time for me was by train from Paris. We are staying in Italy for three weeks, in Venice, Seina and Rome. Last visit to Italy was before hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans. The hurricane has delayed our return to a most beautiful and interesting country. Thanks again.Crawford
