I do not know how many are aware, but now if you need to renew your UK passport while living in Italy, the documentation now has to be sent to Paris.

No changes as far a I can see on the satellite info. Worth doing as Flip says first and then a full channel re-scan.

The Thai food was just a comparison Penny. I also checked the British Food Shop prices against a few lines and they were cheaper as well in many cases. Oxo x 12  E2.26  (E2.65) PG tips x 80 E4.66 (E5.35) Heinz Beans x 4 E3.90 ( x1 E1.50) Fray Bentos Steak & Kidney Pie E3.77 (E4.95) Fray Bentos S&K Pudding E3.77 (E5.50) FYI, I worked in retail in the UK for over 30 yrs, so do know how things work on pricing and mark-ups. Would like to support them, if the prices were attractive. As to ½ûÂþÌìÌÃs in the UK, wherever they are, they only prefer their own food, as they are not adventurous on other cuisines in the main.

Penny your comment: Remember that food in Italy is subject to IVA whereas it isn't in the UK so that's 21% up for starters plus they have to pay to transport it. I don;t think the prices are too bad considering. Their prices are OTT. I just compared some of the Thai food against what I pay from a ½ûÂþÌìÌà company that imports as well. Just a few examples Prices I pay and quantity first, LBFS in brackets: Plus their free delivery if you spend over E150 only applies to 1x10kg box (see the small print). I only have to spend E100 and it arrives FOC even if it weighs 40kg. Fish sauce 725ml E2.20   (150ml E3.50) Red Curry Paste: 400gm E2.45 (285gm E5.95) Sweet Chilli Sauce 800gm E2.75, 350gm E1.50 (380gm E3.90)

Belvedere The product you are buying is basically the same as the Ariston Nuos, which came onto the market about 2 years ago. Never heard of the make you are getting.

You have to be paying that much tax per year, to save that amount. If it works the same way as the geothermal 55% reductions, all invoices have to be paid by bank transfer. Please see below the last info I had on the above:Only existing buildings can benefit of 55% tax deduction, no benefit for new buildings/houses. Buildings have therefore to be registered by local "Catasto". This benefit is granted for all works inproving thermal and energetic consumption of the house, the complete list of works is available on Enea website, .Amount granted are:-euro 100.000 for lowerign energetic need of the building (new heating or conditioning system) (that is 55% of Euro 181.818,18);-euro 60.000 for house insultion, windows including shutters, roof, etc (that is 55% of Euro 109.090,90);-euro 60.000 for solar panels (that is 55% of Euro 109.090,90);-euro 30.000 for winter climatisation systems (that is 55% of Euro 54.545,45).When all works are finished, a qualified engineer has certify that all works are complying with requirements, and can fill in Form E of "Decreto del Ministro dell'Economia e delle Finanze del 19/02/2007" and sent it to Enea by internet.Other documents are to be kept for eventual inspection of Ministero delle Finanze:-copy of all payments made by bank transfer, indicating: invoice number, codice fiscale:"Pagamento fattura nr.XX del XX/XX/2009, beneficiario detrazione 55% Receipt of Form E sent to Enea by internet;-certification made by engineer that all works are made in the right way;all invoices related to the works

Be carefull with the choice of ASHP. The standard is based on a 7C input air temp, so the COP reduces as external temps decrease. Altitude, climate date, etc. can reduce this more, so you need to check the conditions carefully.

It is circa E1.30 for each Kw extra on the standing monthly charge, so 6kw E7.80. 10Kw E13.00. Units used prices remain the same across all the D3 range. Heat pumps including air/air, air/water, water/water, can benefit from special low rates using a BTA 3,6,9 meter, which is in addition to the normal domestic supply. You have to factor in the extra installation cost for the second meter.
