I know this problem has been mentioned in an earlier post, but it has just reared its ugly head again. When we changed the registration of the Citroen from UK to ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, despite there being a tow bar fitted, it was not noted on the registration.

Anyone know how to ask for the skin to be left on a pork roast, so that you can get the crackling?? Just had a beautiful loin roast from the butcher, but they cut all the skin off before it is on display, so no nice crunchy bits when roasted.

For those of you, who walk dogs around the San Ruffino tracks. There is an ½ûÂþÌìÌà Woman who sometimes has been seen there with an Alsatian, quite often not on a lead.

Stalk & clean 1lb of sloes, prick all over with a darning needle and put in a bottling jar. Add 3-4oz of granulated sugar + a few drops of almond essence or a little Noyeau liqueur.

The last few weeks, have been walking the dog past the above park area in the evenings. The picnic/viewing area is virtually overgrown, with only the first few metres of grass having been cut, empty plastic bottles strewn around the bins etc.

Thanks for the info SteveW. I just looked up the advisory on the HSE site and it was interesting, as there are many people using pellet systems here.

Hope it does start up again Sabina. May be worth investigating putting in a pump to send it to a store when the water level improves. Do not know how much a storage tank would cost though, plus you must make sure that the water is filtered and boiled before using.

Thats very interesting SteveW. Looks like there will not be many DIY systems installed soon, as you need the certificate, or you need someone like a "HETAS" engineer in the UK to sign it off.

How far away is the mains supply? I know someone who had a very deep well drilled with no trace of water, but then had 1.5kms of new pipe laid from the mains to the house. Expensive, yes, but would solve the problem if you had now water in the middle of winter and a tanker could not reach you.

Can never see why people go so mad on pasta, it is tasteless without a sauce and even then it is a normally mediocre tasting dish, just meant to fill you up. Suppose thats why they serve it first, so you don't complain about getting less meat!!!

Shows what rubbish some of these reporters come up with, but then it has promoted his business!! Just saw this review from the Guardian ....... agrees with you totally. This was interesting as well, as he sold the London restaurants earlier this year.

No checks needed on a Geothermal system Steve. 2 filters to clean only, as there is no combustionable material.

We have had to do this with one Commune in Montegiorgio in Marche, but it seemed just to be for the excavations and to show system specs. I don't think there was a charge for it. Gala, the link you gave is directing to some Groupon site, as my antivirus blocked it!!
