I know this problem has been mentioned in an earlier post, but it has just reared its ugly head again. When we changed the registration of the Citroen from UK to ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, despite there being a tow bar fitted, it was not noted on the registration.

Anyone know how to ask for the skin to be left on a pork roast, so that you can get the crackling?? Just had a beautiful loin roast from the butcher, but they cut all the skin off before it is on display, so no nice crunchy bits when roasted.

For those of you, who walk dogs around the San Ruffino tracks. There is an ½ûÂþÌìÌà Woman who sometimes has been seen there with an Alsatian, quite often not on a lead.

Stalk & clean 1lb of sloes, prick all over with a darning needle and put in a bottling jar. Add 3-4oz of granulated sugar + a few drops of almond essence or a little Noyeau liqueur.

Anyone have a Canon printer that uses the BCI 24C colour cartridges? I have 5 unused compatible cartridges, as now have a Epson printer. Free to a good home, as against throwing them in the bin!!

Is there a function so that we can insert a PDF or Word document into a post? I have some information for the Energy certificate topic, but cannot see any way to insert it without copying and pasting( PDF of about 7 pages).

The last few weeks, have been walking the dog past the above park area in the evenings. The picnic/viewing area is virtually overgrown, with only the first few metres of grass having been cut, empty plastic bottles strewn around the bins etc.

Hi Ram Had already posted about the change to that at end of July in this posting. Nationwide also notified me with a terms and conditions amendment, with the statement. You must have missed it!!!

Last I saw on a shopping survey, was £3.49 for 400 gm Cathedral City mature. The Lidl cost @ E2.49 is therefore a bargain!!!

For a good sized bath try this one, we paid E420 for it about 5 years ago, but it is solid!! You can pick up a lot of lower priced ceramic fixtures all over.

Seems like the vultures got there first, as according to the guy today, it was already sold out!!! One day after the promotion started. Perhaps their marketing/ordering dept should get it together better. Talking to the wife in Thailand today, it is easily available there, as are so many other things like Oxo etc. Wonder when Italy will get into the real world of other foodstuffs readily available at uninflated prices.

You should just be able to click on the delete message and then a confirmation box asks if you are sure, and then click the delete in that. Just tried it on an old message and it worked ok.

Thought Ronald was doing all this and seem to remember in a previous post that there were lots of improvements coming. Have not seen any from the few months ago it was mentioned. Please keep everyone updated.

You may, or may not like this Thai recipe, but it is one of our favourites. Wife told me she ate this last night when she arrived in Thailand. All the ingredients are easily available. Another you may like, substitute the chili paste for red curry paste. This is the nearest I can get to how we make it here.

A fairly well known fact that hopefully many are aware of, is that if it is an ½ûÂþÌìÌà quoting for work to another ½ûÂþÌìÌà he will give a good price, it is fairly certain that for a non-italian it will be 25% more. I have had this information from a good ½ûÂþÌìÌà friend who  was asked if the job was for him or someone English. 12Euros per hour for him, or 15 for the others. Just glad that I work with a company that does not inflate quotes in the same way, as I see them both for ½ûÂþÌìÌÃs and non ½ûÂþÌìÌÃs. We have had project managers trying to get their 10% for something that they know nothing about and could at no time advise, as beyond their " technical expertise" It is also not on when you sort out windows etc, and then the geometra wants to take his 10% for doing nothing
