Questions Asked

I know this problem has been mentioned in an earlier post, but it has just reared its ugly head again. When we changed the registration of the Citroen from UK to ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, despite there being a tow bar fitted, it was not noted on the registration.

Anyone know how to ask for the skin to be left on a pork roast, so that you can get the crackling?? Just had a beautiful loin roast from the butcher, but they cut all the skin off before it is on display, so no nice crunchy bits when roasted.

For those of you, who walk dogs around the San Ruffino tracks. There is an ½ûÂþÌìÌà Woman who sometimes has been seen there with an Alsatian, quite often not on a lead.

Stalk & clean 1lb of sloes, prick all over with a darning needle and put in a bottling jar. Add 3-4oz of granulated sugar + a few drops of almond essence or a little Noyeau liqueur.

Anyone have a Canon printer that uses the BCI 24C colour cartridges? I have 5 unused compatible cartridges, as now have a Epson printer. Free to a good home, as against throwing them in the bin!!

Is there a function so that we can insert a PDF or Word document into a post? I have some information for the Energy certificate topic, but cannot see any way to insert it without copying and pasting( PDF of about 7 pages).

The last few weeks, have been walking the dog past the above park area in the evenings. The picnic/viewing area is virtually overgrown, with only the first few metres of grass having been cut, empty plastic bottles strewn around the bins etc.

what are you foreigners in Italy doing here…?? Is it just the climate…?? Only in spring to autumn, otherwise not much different. I’ve lived in 4 countries on 2 continents and accept the culture that I find there. So have we, is that some recommendation? Many countries give you a good choice of cuisine. I notice many far eastern hotels now are opening ½ûÂþÌìÌà restaurants, as the new tourists from here do not like  to experiment with other countries food!! So they will not accept another culture either. My wife and I love the fact that we have gone 20 years back in time where values such as honesty, integrity, courtesy are still core values. Think you forgot the politicians and local government departments, that are a rule unto themselves. Forget what the EU says is right, we will do it our way, until we get caught and fined ( ½ûÂþÌìÌà Logic )!!! What’s wrong with queing up in the post office or at the bank or paying your ICI personally; it’s where you hear all the gossip (and you Brits certainly like that). It really is an embassrassment to be British So you are British, so you must like the gossip too!! Be more ½ûÂþÌìÌà embrace Itailianism!!! OK ........ Will start charging more for foreigners who want work doing, cash payments only. Deny them the right to full health care status when they obtain residency after 5 years ......... and the beat goes on!!! My comments above do not apply to the BBC the only good thing about Britain!! You must be a Labour supporter!!!!!!!!

REtune your satellite dish to this. So much better than Hotbird. Quite a few series, films  etc on the above. There are also a number of streams from the BBC that show sport in English. Sky News is also available. The current channels on Hotbird will be lost!  The decoder needs a rescan once the dish is moved. You will only receive basic uk channels and will not get ITV, channel 4 or BBC but will receice the BBC red button channels. Most BBC radio stations can be accessed as well as some other major commercial stations.

Shows the mentality of some of these creatures that call themselves human. They deserve the same fate, but that will never happen as they are cowards and could only inflict suffering on defenceless animals.

Hi John. I think one of the best people to get in touch with by PM is sagraiasolar on this forum. He deals with multiple heating options, whereas I only cover geothermal. Hope this helps.

Would not suggest going there while the hunting season is on, as the hunters just let their dogs run wild. I know as had a broken hip due to mine protecting me ( and not her fault as she was on a lead, just her reaction to an attack ) while 3 overgrown rats who could not be controlled by these so called "hunters" just stood back as they did not want to confront  a Maremmano, as most ½ûÂþÌìÌÃs would not either.

We had the same problem as regulator from UK would not fit the ½ûÂþÌìÌà gas bottle. Visit to the ellectrico, who also sells gas, resolved the situation. Hope this helps.

The guys I use are very fast and usually take only an hour for lunch. We are heavy clay based in this area,  so that could explain the difference. A heavily water based soil retains much more heat than a sand base, so for sand you have to excavate to a deeper level, but it is much faster.
