Appears there is a virus originally found earlier this year, that many AV companies and firewalls have had problems stopping. Zonealarm free firewall does not stop it, although the full version now does.
The orto so far this year has produced mixed results: zucchini, green beans, tomatoes have gone mad Thai holy basil, lemon grass, baby sweet corn also doing well, as are the swedes. Failures at the moment: parsnips and mange tout.
This looks like another new tax that has just been introduced here. On each prescription item, you have to pay 21 cents, even if the medication previously was free.
Does anybody have any recipes for cooking black truffles. We had one today, cooked in an omelette in the French style, but would like to know if anyone has used them with pork, as still have another 2 to use up before they go off.
There are new regulations as from 31/05/2010 as to amounts paid out over 5K. Will post the document in English as soon as I can get this site to accept it without being a URL.

Sorry Adriatica. I was not recommending a Geo system, but only thinking mainly about the excavation cost for a few hundred metres of trenching at that sort of depth. I know with our type of excavation that it is normally around 2 days of digging/backfill for 200 mtrs using a large JCB.
lay in a few hundred meters of pipe at aprox 2 meteres below ground and add a fan to draw the air in... and expel used air... the fan can be as small as a computer cooling fan... pipes need to slope away from house to let condensation roll downhill.. air sucked in will be at a pretty constant plus 12c .... not warm enough to live in but a much better starting base to add heat to than 0c... the other benefit is that in the summer its also a cooling system.. as 12c is a yearly constant... so not a suitable solution for all but its a cheap and sustainable simple heating cooling system that will air your house and pretty well eliminate all normal damp problems...whilst hopefully changing your fuel bills too and making a holiday home feel that little bit more comfortable when you arrive for a few days... The cost of that sort of excavation could be anything from 2-4 thousand Euro, plus the pipe. I think that would be prohibitive. Readings I am currently getting for ground loops @ 1.5 mtrs are circa 6C, albeit these are water based and on return recharge, so take a longer time to reheat.
Why not try one of the hire places. We bought ours from the one on the Communanza- Amandola road, that had only been used for a couple of months and got a good discount. At least it was local and could get it repaired easily if required.
Thanks Gala. Happy and Healthy New Year to All.
If the rocket does not explode, then costs may become lower for this type of access.
Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year to all from Amandola.
From Sebastiano's comment, this article is interesting:
Find it a little confusing that the province of Fermo, that Amandola is now in, not listed. Perhaps they have not updated their database!! Like yourself, to go through that 2nd link is a nightmare, looking for a needle in a haystack. Lots of other usefull comments, so will be interesting to see what happens with this class action.
Could it be a losing battle though?
