We now have a new addition to the family here, a orphaned leveret. It is only about 8 days old now, but seems to be doing quite well and putting on weight. Feeding it a kitten milk mixture. Anyone else had experience of bringing them up??

Italymag's latest post has just amused us here, about the ½ûÂþÌìÌà Chef Aldo Zilli, as being one of the first to introduce "proper" ½ûÂþÌìÌà food into London. There were many restaurants in London, in the 70's prior to him arriving. One, San Frediano,

Wonder if anyone having the same problems:1. You read a post logged in, then refresh and then it tells you that you have x number of unread posts, even though you have read all.

Because it was raining today, thought to do some price comparisons re non ½ûÂþÌìÌà B&B's to ½ûÂþÌìÌà ones in Marche. I will not name any, but to be honest, you are better staying in ½ûÂþÌìÌà establishments.

Try to see if you can get some 2 metre lengths of plastic waste pipe from the local builders merchant that will fit your hoover pipe + a 90 degree bend. You may have to bodge up the end brush, but anything is possible!!!

There does seem to be mixed reviews on the product. I found a couple of forums (U.S) where it was being discussed. May be worth a read. With the warmup/cool down lag in heavyweight UFH, this can be controlled by the correct heat delta setup  and as mentioned in the above forums, they suggest using a external air sensor as well.

Had a read-up on this, but there are a few concerns. Talking to someone in Scotland who had a ASHP with  underfloor heating, but with wooden flooring in lounge/dining room.  Temperature in those rooms was low, as wooden floors act as insulation, so low heat transfer=higher running cost.

If just a holiday home, why not just get air/air inverters. Can heat or cool the house. Prices for some about E1000 each. Just need a system then for DHW.

You can order parsnip seeds from UK, but they do not like the clay soil so much. Have tried a couple of years to get them going. Swede however does very well. Mangetout is another that has problems developing.

Sent a email to the above out of interest. My question and their answer below. There must be a catch somewhere, which is probably after the 1st year finishes: I did forget to ask the charge for switching unfortunately!! "Message: Having looked at your site and sample bills, could you please give an idea of what my costs may be for one year, based on my normal supply and usage in Italy? House supply 15 Kw, 3 Phase as use a heat pump. Average annual consumption 10000Kwh." "Ok it's a very simple sum. Look at your current bill and take the "rete" charge for the line which is basically fixed each month and add that to this sum for the KWH used  10000 x 0.071  =  710.00 Euro for the year before the "Rete" Line charge. Best Regards, Italy Powered Team"
