Am contemplating buying a second hand Jotul No1 Stove in UK,and wondered if anyone here is bringing a van to Italy and would consider transporting it to Gualdo di Macerata in Le Marche for a mutually agreeable fee/share of costs.

Penny and Gala for replies.  I know seed can be exported from UK to EU countries so in theory, once local varieties identified and quantities calculated maybe that is the way to go...Just do not think ½ûÂþÌìÌÃs would think it a money making project selling wild flower and grass seed as they are too clever and save and plant their own.  Will head down Valdaso rd to Pedaso Penny and see what's on offer but have been spoilt by wholesale nursery prices back home and miss the choice of varieties, here everything seems so expensive even with the odd plant or two thrown in for free....Do wonder if there is an opening to export from UK plant passported plants here in bulk for those intersted in large quantities ?  Could do if anyone interested ?

Have used Moneycorp for 6yrs, regular monthly transaction to Banca Della Marche....No problems until Dec. Money taken from uk account on the 4th, still not in local bank, Gualdo, on the 14th ! , usually takes 4 days.  Moneycorp claimed to have sent it but Bank Italy could not find it !!!!  Moneycorp then told me ½ûÂþÌìÌà bank no longer accepting 'Tempo' payments ?  Not so according to Samuella in Gualdo branch.....After alot of e-mails, phone calls and hassle Moneycorp agreed to send the money again (their money) so long as I would, if original sum turned up, let them know and credit it back to them.  After xmas had an e-mail from Moneycorp saying  my account with them was in credit for the exact sum that went missing.....ummmmmm, what to do now ?  Take the money and run ?

Contacted TI 6yrs ago requesting land-line as needed.  Within 2 months had one.  Took 2 men 3 days with mini-digger to lay cable, erect post and connect at a very reasonable cost (approx 150 euros).  Do however loose connection every year for approx a week or two due to weather conditions...suppose thats to be expected.  Def' TI as good if not better than BT !

Many thanks Penny, that has cleared up the confusion for me and others in the same situation. With regard to the health issues, my Tessera Sanitaria doesn't have an expiry date, so I suppose there would be no advantage to becoming a permanent resident ?

Penny, I'm confused by conflicting information re. permesso. It seems that this document is no longer required by EU citizens and therefore does not need renewing, however, I have also been told that if one already holds a Permesso di Soggiorno then it has to be renewed.  Do you know what the correct thing to do is ?
