Reading your post makes me think maybe you are going through what we all do....when not just retiring .......settling down and finding work / integrating not always easy.....So many things different, hopefully people here can advise and help if struggling. Where r u. Sure pic is Florence but unsure if that is your home....
Switched to plain text editor and can now post comment. Thanks Pilchard.
Agree with Sprostoni, we too live in Le Marche and would not to be anywhere else.... Enjoy too visiting the 'other places', and as have saved a few euros buying here can afford said visits. Well just.............. The house, and location has to be right for you...have you ever been to 'Le Marche', sure, if not you will be hooked......it is beautiful !!!!!
As I said before, its all about how and where you live.  Biggest expensive as Angie says is heating in the winter. Electrical goods I do get from Amazon and shoes and clothes can be bought on-line....M&S only charged £5 for one or several items to be sent here last Christmas so if you search you may find cheaper....Â
Sorry Tinker, re: cost of living... depends on all sorts, importantly, where and how you live... Yes fuel is expensive here (same uk), iatlian eqivalent of council tax is now nil, and if you use markets and shops like Lidls for food-stuff you will save a packet compared to other supermarket chains...just buy 'choice'  things there.....and the sun does shine here alot more than back home.......Easy choice....Â
Made me laugh....
Thanks Gala, have checked out web-site and have the knowledge and will take care... but am encouraged by the possitive, health benifits of eating these fish...... eating L'Ora tonight....
Not sure if Nose made 'subject box', but now Tom cat has bad nose...same initial diagnosis...same place but as yet no visable blisters...... What a 'to do' and what to do ???? Whatever, whoever is the culprit hasn't gone away..... Have examined garden for possible sourses and raked tons of leaves up to expose possible cause to no avail.... Will continue investigating and report back...... PS Glad Harry's 'culprit' identified and hope Simi's face much better....
Ummm, basmati rice..maybe kedgeree for breakfast ?
