I think that it could work; but they will catch small fish only. The big ones have nothing to fear. On the other hand, I agree that this is not very constructive measure. More effective ones will be needed.
Basically, it is a matter of good manners to inform the owners if you cannot keep an appointment. Unfortunately, good manners start to look as something of the past. You have my sympathy, Penny. I am repeating the information contained in the other thread, as this one seems to be concentrating all the answers: Have a look at the Unopiù catalogue: and this item in particular: But you can look at the Arles and Dafne models as well. I think that this is what you are looking for. The cover is made of polycarbonate (not plastic) as glass is no longer used for safety reasons. Unopiù has products with an excellent quality. Read the full text and ask for a copy of the notary's title where the right of way is mentioned (I think it is expensive.... more than 200 euros for a copy unless you can convince your own notary to give you a copy. If it is not in writing... there is no official right of way.
Besides IKEA, you could try UNOPIU (), expensive but top quality and really beautiful. You could also find something suitable at LEROY MERLIN () and they may have some offers or sales towards the end of the season, although the choice will be limited. Do not forget any of the BRICO shops and also CARREFOUR.
