After my success answering Annec's question, its my turn. However, I’m not clever enough for an ‘½ûÂþÌìÌÃ’ question – so I’ll go for one with a ‘Greek’ connection insteadI’m a ‘sad’ man who likes numbers.
Almost so, but I think that the requirement is not for an ½ûÂþÌìÌà pension, but for a pension that some of which was accrued in Italy.
in other words, if a UK employee working in the UK for an international firm did a stint for that firmÌý in their ½ûÂþÌìÌà office,Ìý his UK pension would accrue in the UKÌý from that work because of bilateral agreements.Ìý
Thus he would have a UK Pension, partially accrued in Italy, and could qualify for the IMUÌý reduction.
Problem - looks like I don't qualify, as my pension was only accrued in UK, without any portion being accrued in Italy.

The case of a pension accrued exclusively in a foreign country , a hypothesis not provided for by law, doesÌýnot fallÌýwithin the favorable regulationÌý.

I haven't got anywhere - Comune insists that some of the Pension had to be 'earned' in Italy - so I don't qualify.

MauriceÌý --Ìý Brilliant, thank you.
(Now to compose a polite letter to the Comune.)Ìý
MauriceÌý - many thanks for that- very useful, (I think/hope).
One thingÌý -Ìý Ìýwhere is that form online?Ìý My comune sends me the completed F24 form, so I don't fill anything .
Again, many thanks
This may help.
Thanks for that - but I think we've tried quoting those - but I'll check
Looks like your Comune is like mine - questionable interpretation of the rules.
I can't find any reference anywhere to the last 2 points you were told.-
6. You must have lived and worked in Italy in the past.
7. You must be in receipt of an ½ûÂþÌìÌà pension

I think those 2 points were ruled illegal but the EU Commission, and it had to apply to all AIRE pensioners.
