    At the opera;-

    • Dress casually
    • take a large picnic - be prepared to share/swap with others there
    • take wine - not soft drinks - and plenty of it
    • sing along - everyone does [except the posh twits]
    • take a cushion to sit on
    • take warm clothes - it can get chilly at night
    • take a waterproof - if its raining, and cancelled you get a refund AS Long As You Are Still In the Ampitheatre [my mate was there when they cancelled at 2200hrs - after most had gone home]

    Calais - up to Dunkirk, - Lille into Belgium- on to Luxembourg [fill up with cheap petrol] - on past Metz - Nancy and on to Mulhouse.Ìý All toll free, and not much difference in mileage.Ìý All motorway/dual carriageway, apart from about 40 minutes before Mulhouse. Then on through Switzerland - get the motorway vignette fromÌý Costs about £30, but no other charges to pay in Switzerland, [inc tunnels!], until you hit the ½ûÂþÌìÌà autostrada.

Ìý I did a quick check – these ÌýÌýÌýseem to charge £20 for delivery to Italy Ìý These - Ìýcharge about £25 Ìý In Arezzo, try;- Vivi Market,Ìý Via Crispi, 58/cÌý - Arezzo Described as - International supermarket with spices and staples for Chinese, Thai, Indian, and Mexican cuisine. Tel/Fax:(0575) 22376 To find it, - ÌýFrom the station, head across the road and straight up V. Guida Monaco to the huge roundabout, Piazza Guida Monaco. Turn hard right at the roundabout. It starts out as Via Roma and turns into Via F. Crispi. It's about 400-500 metres along. Ìý Hope this helps
