Anyone used the Harwich to Hook of Holland ferry service? I'm hoping to drive down to the holiday home later this year, and was thinking of using the service.
By chance I went on the old Forum yesterday - found that someone had PM'ed meÌýfrom that forum only a few days ago. Ìý I hadn't got any notification of a PM, but obviously the old Forum PM system still worksÌý Ìý It might be worth doing the odd visit
Hopefully they may start flights to the North soonÌý?

If you are going back to the UK by ferry, you will have to quarantine on your return- only Eurotunnel travellers can avoid it, by non-stopping in France.
Although you can fill up with fuel etc in france, if you don't mix with others whilst you do.
I seeÌýthat Ferry companies are complaining as only Eurotunnel users can avoid quarantine, and ferry users [even if they "non-stop"] have to quarantine.
We bought without a lawyer - following very very strong advice from our ½ûÂþÌìÌà friends.Ìý
My advice is that it's much more important to have a good translator present at the signing.

If things stay as they are now, you can avoid quarantine by staying out of France.Ìý ÌýIf you drive from Switzerland into Germany, and up to Aachen on the German/Belgium border.Ìý From there it is less than 4 hrs non-stop drive to Calais across Belgium.Ìý By non-stopping, you don't have to quarantine on your return.Ìý It only adds about 2 hrs to the total journey time,Ìý and about 120 miles to the overall distance.i
