I think the groups now exist [at least - when I go to the 'make a new post' section, there they are, in the "Audience" section] Â Hope someone uses them soon - after all the time its taken

Anyone used the Harwich to Hook of Holland ferry service? I'm hoping to drive down to the holiday home later this year, and was thinking of using the service.
By chance I went on the old Forum yesterday - found that someone had PM'ed me from that forum only a few days ago.  I hadn't got any notification of a PM, but obviously the old Forum PM system still works  It might be worth doing the odd visit
Hopefully they may start flights to the North soon ?
what else can one say?
I can't beleive that its 17+ hours since the last post - or has my PC taken over and hidden everything?
Hopefully this will kill Blair's ambitions off.
There is an interesting article in today's G2 section of the Guardian newspaper by a woman who moved to Italy, founded a successful business, and has now moved back to the UK [but still has the business] because she missed LondonÂ

"suggestion to bypass Basel sounds like a great idea. We too have queued for hours to get into Switzerland. I know it sounds a silly question, but has anyone got the signs that we would need to follow to go the other way, i.e. out of Switzerland?"  Coming up from Lucerne on the motorway on the A2 - E35, a few miles before Basel,m  you reach a junction where you either go to left [A2] to Basel or right [A3 E60] to Zurich. Take the Zurich turn and stay in the inside lane for the turn to Germany [signed 'Rheinfelden'], and you are at the border. [I did it on Sunday - went through without stopping - quickest ever border crossing!]  This link should show the map - [I hope] [just reduce the magnification to get a decent view of the map]
deleted - failed to cut & past properly - oh well, off to italy tomorrow!
Don't know if this will help - but you can see real time traffic flows on this siteÂ
Try Googling  "lamezia B&B" - it throws up some cheap accommodation possibilities or if you like - there are some late night [slow] trains - but they involve longish station stops at the interchanges. After the 20.25 train, that arrives at BM at 22.09 [1 change] , there is the 00.22 that arrives at 05.50 [with a 3hr wait at Sapri] or the 01.17 train - that takes forever with 2 longish waits when changing trains [arrives about 08.22]
MBK - is it only down to 1 lane from Lille towards Dunkirk, or is it in both directions?
in my posting above i say that Castel Les Sorbieres is by the Moselle - its not, its beside the Meuse [don't seem to be able to edit anything other than the initial post in the thread]
Calais - then passing close to [on motorway] Dunkirk, Lille, Charleroi, Luxembourg, Metz, Nancy, Epinal - then over the Vosges [only bit of non-dual carriageway] to Mulhouse, then into Germany and avoid Basel by taking the last turning off the autobahn to Lorrach and into Switzerland. Then Lucerne and on to Gotthard Tunnel [take the St Gotthard Pass if you have an hour to spar, including stop for view] and on into Italy My stops are at Castel Les Sorbieres [chateau by the Moselle - a small detour in Belgium] and just outside Lucerne. Coming back we manage with one stop in the Novotel at Nancy Ouest [Laxou].    Castel Les Sorbires has the best food ever!  In a couple of weeks we are doing the Dover Dunkirk route for the fist time - my son has done it and says its great as there are no coach parties on the boat!
Our 'least favourite airline' appears [if 'googling' is to be believed] to have been checking hand luggage weights for some time [but not always]Â On a similar vein - Â could provide an answer
Does anyone know what [if any] train services are running in the surrounding area?  I assume that nothing is moving in the explosion area - but are there any services running in the general area?
- Unless we are to get umpteen different 'healthcare' groups - surely it is best to have a single Group that people can search through
