Talk to people locally - they will know the best tradesmen to use.ÌýI've always been very pleased with tradesmen found this wayUsing local tradesmen also keeps everyone happy - locals don't like outsiders, [for my area thats anyone fromÌý more than about 3 or 4 Km away],Ìýdoing work a local can do]

Electricity - yes there is a higher rate for 'foreigners' - don't think so for water or gas.

If they don't like what is happening, complaints may well 'appear' at the Comune [and possibly the Tax people] Let them know what is happening, and 'keep them sweet' - never upset the locals
