Hi Gala,Many thanks for the prompt response. Looking at the photographs of the restaurant on the internet I don't think this is the one. The one we passed looked like a very old, 2 storey L shaped building with, what looked like, an open courtyard for dining at the front of it.Thank you for the response anyway.Best regardsDavid

Yes, thank you, Ugo, I do know Pierluigi. But I cannot find the Transtevere restaurant that David is searching for, except for the one where Michelle Obama went with her daughters (and some critics say that it is not very good) So I am afraid that David will have to look for it... Or find himself a nice restaurant in the Transtevere...which should not be too difficult, providing he keeps away from the "touristy" places.

Hi Gala/Ugo,Many thanks for the updates. Looking at Pierluigi, I'm pretty sure that's not the one I'm looking for....... and I agree that there are many superb restaurants in Trastevere to choose from so I won't be going hungry!!! I'm on a mission to find the one I saw though. I think I'll go back to the person who owns the company that does the guided scooter tours and see if he can come up with some ideas.Grazie mille.David
