2008 New to IMF
Hello, my name is Joe. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist located in South Florida, USA. I have been self employed and I have been practicing since May 2005. There is still much for me to aquire to become a better therapist and at this time in my career I am doing pretty good with the knowledge and experience I have aquired. I have no complaints, only compliments and smiles. I have been offered a therapist posistion in Italy through a very dear friend. Unfortunately, the massage industry is not his business, my posistion to his business will enhance services and keep everyone in tune to better health and the sport he offers. I hope to accept his offer for the near future as I continue with my practice here in South Florida. But, in the mean time, I am trying to research the laws, regulations and requirements in Italy on practicing massage therapy as a professional... if there are any such laws. I am hoping IMF and its memebers can assist me with any valuable information along with gaining valuable friendships. Thanks, JOE :)
Welcome to the forum. What part of Italy have you been offered work in?
Hopefully someone on the forum will be able to help you with your quest for information on the massage industry in Italy. Have you thought about contacting one of the many terme, where massages are amongst the treatments available. In Viterbo we have the Terme di Papi.
