1942 Yellow Pages

Does anyone know where we can get a copy of our local yellow pages (or ½ûÂþÌìÌà equivalent)? We want it for the Ostuni region of Puglia.

We keep getting stuck in trying to identify where local services are and how to access more specialist services such as artesian well servicing.

An internet based equivalent would also be helpful.

They are remarkably difficult to get hold of. As soon as we had our land line put in we started asking for one and they kept promising it but it eventually arrived some months later when they were dishing out the new ones to everyone. Probably the best way is to ask a friend or neighbour for their copy of last year`s.

This is the online version of the ½ûÂþÌìÌà Yellow Pages. Type in what you are looking for and where and something should come up. I think it is also available in English.

If you have a land line, the lady on this number will be able to provide you with Yellow Pages for the Brindisi district - 0831 385328. She accepts calls between 19 and 21.00 hrs.
