1921 San Vito crew - where do we buy gas canisters?

Something we never got round to finding out - where do we buy gas canisters in the area (the sort that feed our gas cooker)? Otherwise when this one runs out we'll have to resort to the wood burning oven, scary...

You can buy canisters in Serranova - little odds and sods shop opposite main (!!!) shop just next to the fountain. Take in your old canister and he'll replace it and give you a ticket. I think the garage as you're coming into San Vito (from Brindisi road) also do them.

Now if it'soda syphon sparklets you're needing , I know a lovely couple called Alex and Lynn who just might be able to help!!!
Cheers!

Buy a second gas bottle - when my place ran on bottled gas, [now 'mains' thank goodness], it always ran out at a time when it was impossible to buy a refill immediately - so hot water or cooking.

Don't tell anyone, but when my son stayed there one January, the gas ran out early on a very cold Sunday night - so he went next door [holiday home like mine, and empty at the time] and 'borrowed' their bottle until replacement bought on Monday morning.

We have a second oen outside opposite the front door on the lefthand side, we should refill it defolla. What with the worms, floods, power cuts and women in black dresses the last thing we need is no gas

I`d definitely agree with the people who say get a second gas cannister. They always run out at the most inconvenient moment. I don`t know how much it costs to buy the 2nd bombola but the gas seems to cost sround e17 a time.
