Hi everyone,
I'm new to this web site and would like to commend the concept!

Having an ½ûÂþÌìÌà mother and Irish father who have recently moved to live in Italy, I have sometimes struggled to find out information relevant to the area - particularly in the technology space (internet connectivity options, tv package options etc etc). Learning "local-knowledge" takes time, and this form of information is rarely readily available - in digestible format - on the internet.

The forum-orientated approach taken here seems like an excellent platform for raising and addressing any such queries.

My mother is originally from Dicomano in Tuscany, and my parents elected to move to an area close to there in the foothills of the Apennines. Very nice area, if a bit rustic for my tastes ;-)

Thanks. Yesterday we made a little progress. The bottom of chain first time buyer now has his mortgage documentation and the deposit has been paid, the next one up has one outstanding query but the search they were waiting for has been received, and the next one up is waiting a search due today. The rest of us are ready to go!!!
