... a refreshing protest in a time of sadness....the young people of calabria were out on the streets... brave enough to face all... in a silent and poignant protest against the assasination of a politician in that area....

renowned as i am here for my anti stance...i regard it as anti criminality... not south or north... or even as some might suggest safer to keep quite... it shows that not all here ignore the problems and there is a hope ...

when young people take the iniative to speak out and do so in a public way they are taking on more than most of us have ever done... fronting up to a regime which those that lightly joke about horses heads have very little realisation of life here....

ok ...this happened a few weeks ago...and i am surprised no one mentioned it... maybe the jamies visit is more important.... a sort of joke... but maybe if you understand the problems that are faced by the young people of a region and their willingness to maybe put their lives at jeopardy in protest maybe you will understand the level of the problem...

italy for all its wonders has a cancer within....that at least the young are saying enough... and they should be acknowledged and respected for it....
