A very warm welcome from another in Puglia. When you say 10k from Ostuni, which part? We're in San Vito dei Normanni, although not permanent YET but would love to be :D

We're in San Vito too. We're not permanent either but hoipe to be within a few years. We're over at New year and are having an open house party . If you'd like to come get in touch and we'll give you directions. Ostuni is lovely and we often go there, especially to eat!! Any good haunts you find, pass them on!!

we`re in Puglia too. We moved here about 15 months ago with our 2 daughters (aged 11 & 12) & love it. Which direction are you in? We`re about 3-4 km from Martina Franca in the direction of Ostuni. Don`t know Ostuni very well yet but what we`ve seen, we like very much. Welcome.

Glad you are getting settled...we arrived last April and are about 2kms from San Vito dei Normanni....and absolutely love it ! :) If you need anything just shout !!!! :cool:

Thanks to very one who has replied to my post.

We have put an offer on a trullo and it has been accepted.....

So we are playing the waiting game....

The trullo we have offered on is inbetween San Vito dei Normanni and San Michele Salentino in the countryside. Currently we are staying in a caravan on a site in Spechiolla on the coast.

Finding our way about slowly....but surely
