Any shop selling farm supplies, plants, ferramenta usually have them all on display now as the season is upon us. You can also find tins (lattine) of 1,3 and 5 litres.
It might be hard to find them in a major metropolis,

I have found them very helpful - if the website does not have what you are looking for, give them a call - they will help if they can.

In Italy you might want to look for your local "Consorzio Agrario", the farmer's shop. You can also ask you local mill, they will know for sure, and my experience is that during the harvest season, hardware and household stores (ferramenta and and casalinghi) keep a huge supply.
Of course, if you produce regularly your own oil, the best idea would be to invest in a couple of steel containers with a tap (you find them in Italy in all abovementioned shops), and fill your serving bottle as needed. They are available starting from 5 liters and above, which is also safer if you are planning to bring your own oil back home - no spilling, no broken bottles. For thavelling purposes, I also use plastic tanks (which are extremely cheap) for food, keep them in a dark and cool place (no longer than a couple of months, though) and fill as my few bottles get empty.
Hope it helps.
