Yes..Pilone is one of our favorites as well...here are a few more..... :)
Torre San Sabina....as you drive into Village, take second on the left and you come to a wood....walk thru wood and over dunes and you come to perfect little bay...wonderful...just a short walk in other direction to a couple of bars and restaurants....
Torre Canne..more commercialised but there is a beach and lots of shops, bars and restaurants .
Torre Guaceto...national park...lots of stretches of sandy beach...not many with bars ..but a few small ones...
There are loads more...but haven't had time to discover them all yet !!!!

One thing to bare in mind is the beaches arnt cleaned during winter! So if they are a bit grubby now dont worry they will be lovely and clean come summer. Perfect for any up and coming beaches parties rumoured to be happening next summer!
We have the number of a friend who has quite a few of the houses in Ostuni that he rents for 25 euro per person per night. All are renovated and are excellent and ideally located.
We personally like Pilone beach which is approx 20 mins away, easy to reach, well signposted and clean. Have you got one of the local maps from the tourist info. I've got a spare if you want it. Pilone is a little further up the coast. :)
