1792 holiday in san vito, chieti

We are thinking of going to stay in a small villa in San Vito near Chieti in Abruzzo. Does anyone know what the town of san vito is like? Is it old or modern, lively or quiet? I'd love any advice from any of you please!
Thanks Tessa :)

Hi Tessa,

Like many of the coastal towns in Abruzzo, San Vito is a mix of old and new properties. The upper town is fairly quiet but ideal for an apertivo and a passeggiata before venturing down to Marina di San Vito which boasts a number of outstanding fish restauraunts. The location right next to the sea but yet within 10 minutes drive of Lanciano and many other beautiful villages, makes it an ideal spot to base yourself.

Hope you have a wonderful stay.

If you do go you must visit Chieti I loved this place although I never found the museum and would be grateful if anyone can tell me how to get to it!

Hi Tessa, san vito is a nice costal town that is busier during sumer and a bit quiter during winter, the city is not a metropoly but there lots of places to eat drink and have a plesent eavening, also nearby there nice cities to visit. The museun manopello was mentioning i think is MUSEO D'ARTE
COSTANTINO BARBELLA and is located c/o Palazzo Martinetti - Bianchi
Via C. de Lollis, 10 - Chieti.
