My sister flew Stansted to Treviso with Ryanair recently and caught the bus provided by Ryanair to Venice for about 8 Euros return each. The bus dropped them off at Piazzale Roma, just opposite the railway station. They were staying on the Lido and had no problems at all getting from Treviso to their hotel.
Hi Folks,
I am hoping to take my mom and sister to Venice and/or Rome early in the New Year. We would be travelling from London and I was hoping that someone could advise as to the options re low cost airlines to these cities from London?
Try;-

This should list the budget airlines that fly to/from the cities you want to visit

Many thanks for the advice. Stansted seems to have the best prices, mind you, that is offset somewhat against the £15 it takes to get to and from the airport.
Has anyone made use of the coach service between Stansted and London? I have seen it advertised at the airport and it is considerably cheaper.
Hi Sano
If you are coming in to Heathrow, British Midland is prob your best bet, from Gatwick Easyjet and from Stansted Ryanair. But Ryanair fly to Treviso rather than Marco Polo which is further from the city. British Airways are worth checking out too in advance - I think they fly from Gatwick to Venice.
Hope that helps
M
