:) Hallo everybody!

My name is Andreas Staudte.I´m a teacher and I live in the southern part of Germany not far from Freiburg.My wife is ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ.Her roots are in Carovigno.W´ve got four children.My hobbies are hiking and sailing.That´s all for the moment.

Andreas welcome. I do not live in Italy, I live in California but love Italy!!!! My stepson and his wife live in Germany on an Army base, I think it is called Vislik - spelling is very bad on that, sorry :(

Carovigno has a webcam out in a Piazza that keeps us captivated, sometimes at nothing, but we are all still captivated by it,well I know I am. I've seen 3 funerals, I've heard you can see weddings, but have missed every single one of the one that has been on the webcam. Bad timing - 9 hours behind.

We live just outside San Vito dei Normanni which is the next town to Carovigno. A lovely part of the Italy.

Hallo everybody!

Thank you very much for your replies which I have just finished reading.Like sweetpeg I also watch very often the piazza of Carovigno by the webcam.I´ve never seen a funeral a marriage would be better to watch.Today I worked in the forest to get wood for the next winter.We do sixty percent of the heating with wood.Fuel oil has become very expensive.72 cents a liter.How do you heat your house?

Welcome to the frorum Andreas. We also have a villa in San Vito which for us is a holiday home (for the time being) I am also a keep Carovigno watcher and have watched a beautiful wedding last September. Bride wore a long stright white dress and had a vintage open topped car, decorated with flowers. It was wonderful and the old camera position was in an ideal position being on the corner of the church.

Hallo notaio!

There are a lot of Quartullis in Carovigno my wife told me.My wife´s mother comes from the Brandi family and her father is a Lanzilotti family memmber -his nickname was Liqudu di scazetta.He died in 1993.
