1582 Naples to Brindisi

Does anyone know how long it takes to drive from Naples to Brindisi (by car)?
BA stop flying into Bari at the end of October (end of season?). We can't fly RyanAir because they won't transport our cats.

Choice is either London - Naples and then drive, or AlItalia London to Milan then to Bari (then drive).

Currently thinking we will fly into Naples - think this is the nearest main airport that BA fly to - is there a main airport closer (other than Bari)?

found a route planner on the internet - it says 3hours 30 minutes, 231 miles of which 227 miles are motorways.

I think you need to allow 4.5 - 5 hours for the journey, plus time to pick up the car.

About 4 hrs, its a very easy drive out from Naples so no scarey drive in Naples (with its utterly nutter drivers) over the gentle hills and into Puglia, we did it 2 weeks ago. :)

Just did it a couple of weeks ago too.......4 hours would get you there comfortably if you drive at average speed of 70mph.
