1596 Square Foot Gardening

I have been an advocate of square foot gardening for several years now, and am posting the link to their site here as I suspect it would be a very practical way for many of you with homes in Italy to get the most from your gardens.

You can glean all you really need to know about the system from the website without having to order the book or tapes. I was sent the books a few years ago when I was looking to get involved in a community gardening project in London. The system is sound, though still a bit pricey to get going.

Glad you guys like the idea. The greatest advantage to it is that it works regardless of what type of ground you happen to have. I suspect it also enriches the ground over time as all those nutrients must eventually leech into the soil.
