1548 Getting married in Le Marche

A couple of years ago I bought a little casa to be restored in Montelparo in Le Marche... it's still there awaiting some TLC.. however I've just returned to Dublin from a holiday in Italy and got engaged whilst I was there and would now love to get married there next summer (preferably when the sunflowers are in bloom..) but have no idea where to start.. anyone out there done the wedding experience in Le Marche??.. seems like there's lots of planners available in Tuscany, Rome, etc. but zero info so far on Le Marche.. would be ever so grateful for any advice..

Congratulations!!
Have a look at www.real-italy.com they offer a full wedding service in their beautifully restored house that contains a small private chapel. Weddings are one of their specialities. They are based in central Le Marche, just outside Treia.
Good luck

I know there's an abbey in Serra San Quirico, called ABBAZIA DI SANT'ELENA. As well as organising the wedding ceremony, they also take care of the wedding reception, thanks to a nice restaurant nearby. I understand the owners of the restaurant own the abbey as well (don't ask me why!!). I found this website.

All the best for your wedding, wherever that takes place!!

If you PM me I will give you the details of an ½ûÂþÌìÌà woman who organises weddings for people. She is in Santa Vittoria (i.e. the next village to Montelparo)

Have just stayed at Mulino Barcho near Jesi (about 20 miles from Ancona) its a country place very friendly, recently restored and they,ve just done a wedding for an Irish couple. The Hotel is run by Patrick and Enzo. Patrick is Irish I'm sure he'd love to help you. You can contact them at www.barchio.it

Thanks all so much for this info... am off doing my research into this now.

Grazie mille!
