1501 Just got back

from the closure meeting in Lecce, Puglia for our two properties. Despite the fact that it poured with rain almost the whole time we were there, (except this morning when we got up and had to leave at 10 am), we are so excited.

Arrived home to find we have a firm offer on the sale of our house - hopefully the chain will not take too long to complete and we will be resident in Italy in the next month or two!!!

Rescued an abandoned, starving kitten that turned up on our ½ûÂþÌìÌà doorstep on Friday night. Had no idea what to do with him, but our (Irish) Estate Agent collected him Saturday and has given him a home along with his 12 other cats!!!!! Now that's what I call service.......

We called it Little Dodger, but I think Justin will probably rename it.
Yep, the bubbly was out last night - celebrating with our buyers here.

Hooray - definitely sold our UK house. We're at the top of a closed chain and have been advised we should complete in four to six weeks time! Shame we'll miss the Puglia party though!

Thanks, we're just so excited. I've given notice at work and only have two weeks to go .... then we can really get things moving. Look forward to meeting you when we finally arrive.
