Just got the harvest in from my little garden in Bristol.
Made a load of green tomato chutney and beetroot chutney, runner bean chutney next.
Pickled the onions, eggs next, picked the grapes, made just over a litre of red grape juice, not enough for wine, maybe the juice will last longer.
Hope to do the same in Abruzzo next year.
Imagine inviting the locals for a house warming party.
Chicken korma with penne pasta
Beef madras with fusilli
Lamb passanda with gnocchi
Side dish of home made chutneys and picked onions, washed down with some home made cider.
I would enjoy the curries maybe not too much cider.
Probably get drummed out the village.
Sorry just rambling - wife at work - too much vino collapso - time for bed.

Hey, it would certainly be a party they wouldn't forget. You might even convert them to Indian fusion food!
