Im off to Rome with some friends in November and was wondering if there is any worth in getting a suit whilst im over there? To get one measured and made is it cheaper than Blighty or should I just stick to shops here? If a bespoke suit is not a good idea how much are 'off the rack' suits? Any advice re: good shops would be a bonus.

Humm depends what kind of a suit you want and what you do for a living, the suits in Italia can be a little traditional they love English tailoring but in its most 'English' a bit Princes Charles. But I am sure there are some shops that are a little trendier, since the euro was introduced they are slightly more expensive, good luck you will, be tripping over shops in Rome. I think you probably need a man's advice on this.
