The web link makes interesting reading, especially the conditions, mileage, additional charges etc. Make sure you read all of this before you book. My comparison with an existing booking with Europcar made Europcar much cheaper.
I quite agree with Cassini, as with everything, you should always look at the total price. I get a special deal through the company with hertz and as yet including all insurance collision damage waivers and so on I have not found anywhere cheaper! And you don't have to have a salvador Dali painted car either!
Smart Cars

It's so lazily fashionable to sneer at the Smart but in crowded cities like those in Italy they are fantastic! I hire one on a trip to Milan last year. They are surprisingly roomy inside, have a copious boot space, move as quickly as you might want in a city and (the real blessing) they park on a postage stamp due to small size and good wheel lock. Ok they look quirky but in a city like Milan aqnd with ½ûÂþÌìÌà drivers (out classed for madness in my experience only by drivers in India) it can be a blessing to be noticable and the decoration of the sixty vehicles mentioned here could be a positive advantage marking you out as a foreigner and earning a little on-road tolerance. One word of warning. We were not advised by the hire company of the negine immobiliser which is de-activated using the ignition key and footbrake simultaneously! I stalled in the centre of Milan coming in from the airport and blocked a main highway. Much horn sounding, gathering crowds and embarasment later and a brusque pedestrian pulled me from the car and remedied the problem!! Would I drive one again - you bet and I'm a biker normally! Cheap to get around too and much less liikely to get pinched by joy riders!

We hired a 4 seater Smart car in March and it was superb. We had two children with us and it had plenty of room in the boot for a large suitcase. Loads of leg room for the front passenger, however, the boot would not accomodate an umbarella type buggy (we had two with us) but we just put them on the floor in the back which was fine. Would recommend the 4 seater Smart for a small family on a short break with one suitcase and no prams. Ideal, cheap to hire and cost effective on the fuel front. :D

If more people drove smart cars and less 4 x 4s we might actually help global warming instead of adding to it!
I've put the site on my favourites list .thanks for the tip.
