Ok, so im going to tuscany in two weeks house hunting and im fairly confident i have found THE ONE, i want to be able to move fairly quickly if it does look good. I think I shall be using Gambrione as my solicitor, and to handle the geometra, but at what stage should i get them involved? Do I enlist their services now, even though i've only seen pictures of property, or should i wait until i am certain i want a particular house?
cheers, Will
Will,
I'm not going out until mid October, and I don't yet have anything particular in mind, but I've already been in contact with Giambrione & Law. They've sent me their terms and conditions which I've signed and returned.
If you see something you like and want to start the process, contact Giambrone and they will start negotiations with the agent.
If I were you, I'd contact them now.
Cheers, Derek

Don't sign anything until you have spoken to your lawyer. I have read somewhere that you can fax/email the Proposta to your lawyer so that they can advise but not sure about Gambrione. Much better to be safe sorry. Hope you have found the one! :)
Change of Mind??

What a change of heart in less than 2 months!! :D
(compared to the previous comment on ½ûÂþÌìÌà lawyers in UK where you stated that all a lawyer does is holding you by hand for moral support..... ;) )
Hi Will,
I am going out next Friday - while I was doing research I found this good model of the house buying process on the web. I think the owner contributes on these forums, so you may want to look him up.
Here is the web link: http://www.magicalmarche.com/index.php?section=13
Hope this helps!
Where abouts in Tuscany are you looking? Do you have your finances already in order ??
