Why don't "THEY" ask their local group in the UK, I suspect that you will find that the Church here will probably run a similar organisation.
They were actually a particular branch number of the Round Table which apparently is active all over Europe, maybe further afield as well. They were having a convention of counterpart groups from other countries. Having failed to track down their ½ûÂþÌìÌà counterparts.....heard we lived here and wondered if we could help? They have tried all sorts of search engines etc but no one has heard of Branch 119! We were just trying forum as a last resort really never mind.

This is a service organisation which is worldwide and is a junior version of Rotary. No funny handshakes or rolled-up trouser legs like other organisations however.

Branch 119 sounds a bit too much like the lot who left the banker for the company I used to work for hanging under London Bridge with his pockets full of bricks.

In a way, yes they were a big investor in the company and we shared the same banker. The company is fairly well known in Italy and the current owner is well known around the world.

Thanks very much for ideas Alan.
The convention we mentioned was a meeting of 119 groups from all over Europe.
The missing country was Italy, maybe group 119 does not exist here.
It was a long shot but worth a try.
