Thank you for this suggestion. While I was looking at this one I also found an organisation called Cactus ½ûÂþÌìÌà which offers a holiday combining language learning with cultural activities for the over 50's in 4 towns in Italy. There is also an organisation called Travel Tree at whose website I am currently looking.

You may want to take a look at the Centro Culturale Conero in Camerano close to resorts on the Conero Riviera.
They run one-to-one and group courses for specific subjects plus a number of specialist courses.
Accommodation can be arranged for you with host families or with other students in apartments.
