I don't know what that value is, and am having no success in discovering it. Without it I can't pay the commune the (unknown) amounts that they require. Is there some kind of register that I can consult?

The cadastral valueis on your act of sale, unless the rate has been adjusted following restoration work. 聽 I would suggest that you visit a CAF or go to the comune to sort out what you owe as there are also amounts to add for late payment etc. 聽Then once you are up to date with your payments you can start to use the online tools to calculate what you owe.聽
