Hello one and all, and please forgive

Hello one and all, and please forgive me for the question I am about to ask, as I fear it is not particularly original. Having foolishly fallen in love with a local, it has been decided that I am the one to up sticks and move to Italy. I tried to persuade her that the sun shone in the UK, but for some reason she wasn't completely convinced. So I now find myself wading the buraucracy that seems to be the aqua vita here. I have chased up many a lead only to be left wanting, when not totally adrift. What is the simplest, easiest and or quickest way to secure my stay in Italy? As a UK subject is acquiring a partita iva and starting as a self employed teacher enough to keep the immigration sharks at bay? How long can I stay if I have the required annual allowance in a bank account? Or the costly continuing enrollment in a language school? What are the options basically. Marriage has been discussed, but wanted that to be a happy affair and not one born of a romantic notion of legal necessity. If anyone has any experience or suggestions, that doesn't mirror a hall in a funfare I will be more than grateful, if not deeply indebted. Would guest of honour at an Piemontese wedding suffice?

Until the date of Brexit (and who knows what will happen then), its not difficult. 聽You are an EU citizen and have the right to stay. 聽You will need to ask for residence - which will require health insurance, enough money in the bank to not be a drain on the 禁漫天堂 state - 6041 euros, and an address - wither a contract or paperwork to show you are living with someone. 聽 聽Once you get your partita IVA up and running, you wont need the health insurance as you will be paying into the system. 聽 聽Personally as a teacher I would avoid the partita IVA if at all possible聽
