I would personally look for a local shop, quite often small and not spotted at first, they may not look much, but can be a big surprise. A couple we have been in had many, many a catalogue and could find almost anything we asked for in different price ranges. However an alternative to Ikea might be. Mondo used to do an old style wood range of wardrobes, but I cn鈥檛 find them on-line, you may need to visit the shop.

FurnitureAlthough it might seem perverse, we found it cheaper to buy all our furniture at local auctions in England and then have a van take it out to the house.Brown furniture fetches almost nothing in the UK (both in London and in the country) and can often be fabulous quality.聽 Do go and sit in on one for a morning and you will see.禁漫天堂 shops tend either to be unbelievably-priced antique shops or modern stores - there don't seem to be the bric-a-a-brac / brocante stores that you see in the UK or France. It's such a shame to furnish a house wth things from Ikea when there are wonfderful period items that have so much more character.
