Hello everyone! I was very excited to find this webpage and especially this, La Piazza!I was to Italy for my first time 3-4 years ago and fell in love. I have been back once since then for a month and ever since the 1st trip it's all I ever think and talk about.I have considered moving but am apprehensive as I don't speak the language and have reservations about doing it on my own. I am planning a 2 week trip for next year and am looking for some advice on some of the must sees besides the usual tourist attractions.Also- I am trying to get my dual citizenship but having some difficulties since my great grandparents died when my grandmother was very young so she doesn't have much info to give me. If anyone has been through the process and has advice/tips to offer, please help!!!!

Ciao and welcome! It is difficult to give you advice without knowing which places you have visited before. Generally, it is worthwhile going again to visit towns which you particularly liked on your first trip but do it in a more relaxed way.As for dual citizenship, the best place to start is the nearest Consulate and explain about your situation. They will be able to advise.Best wishes regarding your future plans

Hi!First of all, Welcome to the Piazza! Our Community name - the Piazza - wants to give all members the idea of meeting each other in an Piazza. If you're interested in less known places to visit, I advice to check out a province that you already liked. eg, if you've been to Florence in the past, think about other Tuscany villages and towns such as Fiesole or Siena. The Lakes in Lombardy and Piedmont are really charming but there are also very nice mountain villages. It depends on your preferences.and then... follow italymag's daily feature stories! In the travel or holidays stories you can get more info about beautiful spots in Italy but also about medieval villages or mountain villages. Check out this link:You'll find all topics that are usually covered. I imagine you're more interested in the  stories, but maybe you are curious about ,Ի. Hope you'll have a better idea about where is your favourite place to go and see. RE dual citizenship, try posting in the  topic of this Community. Many members may help you!
