Hi Tim and Cristina, Nice to "talk" with you again! I'm now working on a new piece for International Living Australia and I'm looking for Australians living abroad. Would you mind sharing your story a bit for a possible article? Why Italy? What was the process like (I imagine long!) my email is gmoose4@gmail.com. I hope to talk with you more! Gina
That's great Addison! It takes awhile I think. I'm surprised that there aren't many expats in the Assisi area  it's so beautiful!! But I guess it's more for tourists and locals than expats. You'll be the start of the expat community there! Thank you for the kind offer, but the article is finished and submitted, waiting publication at the magazine. I try to follow all the bureaucratic changes to keep it up-to-date. Â
Hi Tim, Cristina, Thank you for your response! Actually, I've already finished the article (it should be published at TransitionsAbroad.com within the next month or so) but I write constantly about Italy. If I ever need a follow-up piece I hope you don't mind if I contact you both! Thanks again, Gina
Thank you Addison, I've since written the piece -- it should come out in Transitions Abroad's next Europe issue sometime in February or March -- but I could always use good sources! The process is so very complicated, I just hope that a step by step article can provide some assistance to those who decide to do it. I see that you're a writer also, do you write about Italy as well? Cheers! Gina
Hi Giovanni, My name is Gina Mussio. I'm actually writing an article about retiring in Italy with the Visto Elettiva Residenza in the hopes to help others through the process. I was wondering if you'd be willing to answer some questions about your experience moving abroad? My email is gmoose4@gmail.com -- it shouldn't take too much time!
